Hi, I'm Kristin.
I received my BS in Computer Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2002. After graduation I started temping and found myself working as an accountant. I spent eight years in accounting, mostly working for large financial services corporations. While the work itself was interesting (most of the time), I yearned for something more fulfilling. I quit my last accounting job in late 2010 in order to follow a new career path: librarianship. I enrolled in the Masters in Library and Information Science program at the University of South Florida and took my first classes in the summer of 2011. I received my MA in Library and Information Science in December 2012.
I'm a native of the Delaware Valley (or the Philly metro area, for non-locals) and hope to move back to the area now that I've graduated.
I love reading, writing, and rooting for Philly sports teams (especially the Phillies and Eagles). Other hobbies include scouring the Internet for good music and playing with Microsoft Excel. Yes, I said playing; the accountant part of my brain loves spreadsheets.
